About
Concept X is a manufacturer in Vratsa, Bulgaria. We operate a foundry, machine shop, composites shop and tooling shop in one facility, and we specialise in single pieces, prototypes and low-volume runs. No minimum order.
01 · Location
We are in Vratsa, northern Bulgaria, well placed for road and air freight into the rest of Europe. As an EU member, Bulgaria sits inside the single market, so parts ship without import tariffs or duty and reach Western Europe in a few days.
The cost base is lower than Western Europe, while the materials, standards and inspection are the same.
We work with customers worldwide and ship internationally. Many are in Europe; we are not limited to it.
02 · What we do
Precision sand casting in iron, steel and aluminium, the Ni-Resist D5S alloy, and a near-net-shape steel developed for composite tooling.
Metamold4- and 5-axis Doosan milling and 3D part design, for metals, aluminium and tooling board.
Concept XCarbon fibre components, drone airframes, and moulding and tooling for the defence and aerospace industry.

We supply defence, aerospace, automotive and general industry across Europe. The work ranges from prototype programmes and short production runs to replacement parts that are obsolete or no longer made.
